North East India is one of the most amazing places in the world. Not just the beauty of the landscape, but even the highly diversified culture of the peoples inhabiting the region makes it so unique.
We have read in our history lessons of different cultures coming together and collaborating to produce great prosperity and better civilization. We have also read and seen cases of conflict between different cultures.
In the internet space, we have seen really good web sites coming out of different states of North East India. E-PAO from Manipur is a pioneer clearly. Kuknalim from Nagaland is a very well designed web site. So also KanglaOnline, again from Manipur.
While such developments have brought out the best of a particular state and highlighted the state's achievements and issues, it is often found that there is no real common platform for all the communities which form the "Northeasterner". We have felt the need for a platform where different communities can communicate, co operate and collaborate together for greater understanding between the different communities and to bring about prosperity to the region.
Thus, in order to achieve the 3Cs - communicate, co operate and collaborate, Northeasterner was born to serve as a humble platform.
The journey has begun. Please help us reach the destination by using this platform in a constructive manner.

Cheers,
Northeasterner Team
